About Me

I am currently a junior at the University of Science and Technology of China, expecting to graduate in 2025. My academic and research interests are primarily in system security and binary exploitation, with a particular focus on kernel security. My journey in cybersecurity has been marked by a strong commitment to learning and competing in various Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions. Currently, I am the captain of the CTF team Nebula, which ranks in the top 15 out of 17,824 teams in China.

Note: The five-year duration of my undergraduate program is due to my transfer from the School of Chemistry to the School of Cyberspace Security. Additionally, participation in the "Strengthening Foundation Program" (Qiang Ji Plan) adjusted my academic schedule.

🏆 Among top ten teams in the 8th XCTF final, 2024.

🥈 Second Prize in the 6th National “Qiang Wang Cup” Cybersecurity Challenge Final, 2022.

🥇 1st place in the 4th “Great Wall Cup” Cybersecurity Triathlon Preliminary Round and 🥈 6th in the Final Round, 2023.

🥉 3st place in XCTF’s international CTF competition TPCTF, 2023.

🥈 8th place in the 3rd National “Wang Ding Cup” Cybersecurity Challenge Semi-finals and 0.17% (25th out of 14724) in “Wang Ding Cup”, 2022~2023.

🥇 First prize of the 16th National College Student Information Security Contest, East-Northeastern Region and 🥈 second prize in the Final Round, 2023.

🏆 5th place in Tencent’s international CTF competition TCTF/0CTF - RisingStar CTF, 2022.

Teaching and Internship

  • Huawei Internship, as the main contributor, I completed the security evaluation and hardening of jemalloc, and then set up and adapted the syzkaller kernel testing platform, winning the intern scholarship, Summer 2024.

  • Teaching Assistant for Prof. Wenliang Du’s SEED Lectures, Summer 2023.

  • Captain of the CTF team NEBULA, leading our team to achieve a national annual ranking of 12th and placing us in the top 0.33% worldwide on CTFtime, Summer 2023 ~ Summer 2024.
